"11-11 is a very unique game because it's a game about World War One, but it's not a war game," forklarte han oss. "It's a game about war, but humans during the war, and it's a game that's very artistic. It's very different from any other game, because we want to create a living painting. So it's a 3D game, but when you play it it's like being inside a living painting. It's very intense."
"It's not really impressionistic because it's something in between different styles of painting, but the thing is that we wanted it with Aardman - we made the game with Aardman, the famous animation studio that do Wallace & Gromit [...] - and with their experience in animation and art, they bring something very new to video games that is this painterly style. And we wanted that not only for being a painting, but because the emotions that you can feel during World War One, they are very intense, they are sometimes very sad, sometimes anger, stress, fear. All these kinds of emotions are really strong, and the painting, the impressionistic painting, is very good to portray, to show that emotion."
