CWL Anaheim-vinnerne snakker om turneringen

Luminosity Gaming ble nylig kronet til seierherrer i turneringen CWL Anaheim sist helg, og mens det hele pågikk fikk vi slått av en prat med lagets Josiah 'Slacked' Berry. Han kunne fortelle hvor viktig spilleren Sam 'Octane' Larew er for Luminosity:

"He's very important for our team, he's kind of like the mould for our team. When he's playing well, we're doing well, obviously. We're three fast players, me, Classic, and Saints. We're always pushing, playing really aggressive, and he's kind of the guy sitting in the back, mowing everyone down. So if we're playing aggressive, we're winning our fights, he's winning our fights behind us, we're going to be really hard to beat. I think what makes him so good is he's really learned when to be patient and when to play aggressive and that kind of separates him from being one of the better ARs in this game - he just really understands, like I said, when to push up with us and then when to sit back and play his kills, and I think that really helps us as a team."

Vi fikk også sjansen til å snakke med Octane, og han kunne fortelle litt om den gode formen han er i for tiden:

"It's really just comfortability. I got the question a lot this weekend because I think I've been overperforming and it does come down to comfortability you know, relying on your teammates to do the things that you need them to do, to allow me to worry about my own gameplay, not necessarily theirs [...] I'm just playing well."

Da vi spurte hva han legger i "overperforming", forklarer han at det var en overdrivelse for å sette det litt på spissen. Han frykter ikke at det er forbigående, og håper at laget kan fortsette å prestere sammen.
