F1-laget Williams Racing begynner med Rocket League

Formel 1-laget Williams Racing har annonsert at de nå vil konkurrere i Rocket League ved å inngå et stort samarbeid med esportorganisasjonen Resolve. Williams vil først konkurrere i Rocket League Championship Series Season XI, og det blir snakk om en rebranding av det nåværende mannskapet.

"Rocket League has been a topic of discussion around the team for a while now; our people play it; their kids play it - it's huge," forteller Tim Hunt, Chief Marketing Officer hos Williams Racing. "Regardless of whether it's on track or off it, Williams Racing has an imperative to race and compete, and this is what we'll be doing with Resolve as we enter the Rocket League Championship Series Season XI."

Det er ikke meldt noe om hvor lenge samarbeidet varer. Men i den kommende Rocket League-sesongen vil Resolves lag gå under navnet Williams Resolve.
